Gibsons Real Estate - Yes there are still DEALS left!

Gibsons Real Estate has enjoyed a surge of activity over the last several years and home prices have generally risen almost equal to that of the Vancouver area. There are many realtors, and homes for sale in the area.

In comparison to Vancouver, Gibsons Real Estate is still very well priced and you can purchase a home here for the price of a condo or apartment in Vancouver and the surrounding areas.

You are still just a 45 minute BC ferry ride to West Vancouver, and a 30 minute drive into the downtown Vancouver core.

I commuted daily for 4 years and still do a few times a week. To me the trip at time seems long, but I forget that a commuter from areas of the lower mainland can spend much more time in their car trying to get from point A to B.

I was speaking with a gentleman who works in Aldergrove BC and lives in Surrey BC. To me this is 'rural', and the commute, against the traffic flow I thought would take about 20 minutes for him. WRONG!! He told me it can take him any where from 1 hour 15 minutes to 2 hours 30 minutes depending on traffic! Who would want to do that?

Gibsons is a great alternative to commuting in heavy traffic, living a quaint seaside life, and enjoying lower priced BC real estate. From Gibsons to Downtown Vancouver is about 1.5 hours.
