As you enter Sechelt along Highway 101 here is what you will find.

On you left is A&W Sechelt tucked into the Tsain Ko Shopping Centre. Mama Burgers, Papa Burgers and their famous onion rings await.

In the same complex is Spences on the Coast a west coast dining experience. The menu is classic dining and including fresh seafood and steaks. There is an outdoor patio for you to enjoy on the warmer days.

As you leave the Tsain Ko Shopping Centre, you will find Big Macs Superette on your left. Big Mac’s offers take out chicken, deli sandwiches, fries, soups and more. If you are looking for food to go or packing up a picnic in a hurry, Big Mac’s Deli is great choice.

On your left as you follow the highway is McDonalds Sechelt Restaurants and if you are looking for the quick fix to please the kids, it is always an option.

At the corner of Wharf Road and Highway 101 as you make a left turn there are two restaurants, on you right is Bayview Szechuan and they offer a smorgasbord of oriental food for lunch and dinner daily. The smorgasbord has prawns, chicken, veggie dishes, chow meins and lots more. If you are really hungry, this is a great deal. There is also an outdoor patio for warm weather enjoyment.

On your left is Golden City Chinese Food that also offers a smorgasbord on Sundays. Stop in and visit Abby and he will make sure you are well looked after.

Further along Wharf Rd to your right are more Sechelt Restaurants. Daphnes Restaurant Sechelt offering a fine selection of Greek cuisine with a great atmosphere and outdoor covered seating as well. The open kitchen and friendly staff will make your dining experience memorable.

Also on the right is The Old Boot Eatery dishing up classic Italian pastas and meals with a flair. Try some of their famous sausage and you can even take some home, purchasing it at the Galiano Market across the street. There is also limited outdoor seating as well as the funky indoor restaurant.

On the left is the Santa Cafe open for breakfast and lunch, this quaint little bistro is an option for your mid day hunger.

Following Cowrie Street into Sechelt there is the old standby Village Restaurant. The Village offers Chinese and Western cuisine in a very relaxedl atmosphere. Open for breakfast, lunch and diner.

Also on the right is a new eat in take out diner offering fresh wrap sandwiches and sushi. There is limited outdoor seating, but you can watch the passing shoppers in the village.

Right next door is Sergio’s pizza, open for lunch and diner, you can by pizza by the slice or have your pie delivered. There is limited indoor seating, but in a pinch it is a nice option.

On your left, you will see Trail Bay Center there are two dining Sechelt Restaurants in the mall and both have external door access so they are open later than mall hours. Saffrons offers a nice selection of East Indian cuisine. The fabulous aromas and tantalizing dishes are sure to please the fans of this eastern cuisine.

On the opposite side of the mall, on Teredo St is Seachells Chinese Cuisine they offer eat in and take out dining of traditional Chinese style.

Also on Teredo Street is the Kiang Pho Noodle House, stop in and visit Sandy and Peter for some of the very best Vietnamese cuisines you have ever had. Simply amazing and tucked away in the Teredo Square.

Also in the Trail Bay Center is Sechelt Subway, traditional fast food subs made fresh, right before your eyes. To the left of Sechelt Subway is the Thai House serving up spicy dishes and is truly authentic Thai cooking. Make sure you indicated how spicy hot you want your dishes or you may be blown away.

Next door to the Thai House is Gilligans Pub serving traditional pub fare in a laid back casual atmosphere. There is an outdoor patio as well.

On the opposite side of the highway is one of the two fine dining waterfront restaurants Pebbles Restaurant is located in the Driftwood Inn and is open for breakfast, lunch and diner. Call ahead and reserve window seating if possible to enjoy the amazing views. West coast traditional, you will find everything from seafood, to steaks and burgers.

Back into Sechelt and along Wharf Road head for Porpoise Bay and you will find the second waterfront dining establishment Magellans this is a tapas bar and restaurant offering outdoor seating overlooking the bay and nice views from inside the restaurant as well.

The Lighthouse Pub is right next door offering traditional pub fare and larger portions for the hungry traveller. Recently redecorated this is a great place for a Saturday afternoon an the deck watching the seaplanes land with your hot wings and ice cold beverage.

On the opposite side of Porpoise Bay, towards Tuwanek is the Blue Heron. This fine dining establishment is also located with water views and the seating is all indoors. This can be a spectacular dining experience, and special occasions are made just a little more special with their fabulous Mothers Day brunch and Valentines specials.

Leaving Sechelt on Highway 101…. There are a few more Sechelt Restaurants as you head towards the Powell River ferry.

RockWater Resort and Spa about 25 minutes north of Sechelt has a spectacular setting to enjoy your upscale West Coast meals. Fine dining in a casual atmosphere can be found here and the views from the deck and inside the resort are nothing short of breath taking.

The Jolly Roger is a pub located in Secret Cove BC and you will find the locals chatting while enjoying their appies and a cold beverage. A nice option while travelling north of Sechelt BC.
